Hi, I'm Mackenzie Dexter- founder and CEO of Healthcare in Heaven. I created Healthcare in Heaven with the intention of providing financial coverage for patients in hospice to not only help patients but also their families from the financial burden of medical bills and funeral arrangement costs. I have been very fortunate in my life to not have to face the burden of medical bills of a family member in hospice. But I show incredible empathy to those who have to go or have gone through that experience. I have experienced firsthand the death of a close relative and understand how difficult it is to be close to a relative when you know their time is soon. For me, my relative, whom I lived with until a month before her passing, always sought to help those in need. She integrated love and compassion into every project she took on. Her passing made me understand how heartbreaking it is to lose a close relative. But through this organization, I hope to ensure others are not left in that situation and are not dealing with it alone. Healthcare In Heaven was founded to help, support and care for hospice patients and their families. Join in our mission and help us to help those that need us most.
